Cooking

Class	Description
Candy Sushi	Using a candy sushi recipe we will make adorable and tasty sushi look-alikes from Rice Krispies, gummy worms, and other pre-made candies! Dairy-free and gluten-free will be available.
Dutch Oven Cooking	Dutch Oven Cooking is an outdoor experience! We will be under the tent in the parking lot. Dress for the weather. This class uses a cast iron Dutch oven and charcoal to bake food. Last year we made cinnamon rolls, nachos, and cheesy garlic bread. This year, the menu is unknown and promises to be delicious! Allergy note: limited options for gluten-free and dairy-free will be offered, but not all items will be such. ** Allergies: eggs, sausage, dairy, cheese, and gluten

Smoothies & Waffles	"Make your own smoothies & waffles! Pick from a variety of fruits, spinach, seeds, & powders to make a delicious one-of-a-kind smoothie! Then, make your own waffles using regular or gluten-free flour, and top it with syrup or whipped cream & fruit. Allergy Friendly (will have milk alternatives and gluten-free flour). Note: waffles will have eggs and butter."
Sushi & Fresh Spring Rolls	Learn how to make your own Sushi and fresh spring rolls! Start by seasoning the rice, then choose from a variety of ingredients including vegetables as well as some fish/shellfish ingredients as options. Next, learn how to form your sushi rolls and present them like a pro. Also, practice rolling your own fresh veggie spring rolls in rice paper. Finish them both off with some homemade sauces. (Allergens present, but optional to include in your dish: Fish, Shellfish, Soy, Sesame, Egg, Almond. We will have coconut aminos as a soy sauce alternative and keep fish/shellfish/almond ingredients separate from other ingredients) Gluten Free, Dairy Free & Peanut Free.

Class	Description
Dry Felting	In a nutshell, needle felting is the process of transforming wool into 3D objects using a barbed needle.
Indian wooden block printing	Woodblock printing, or woodblock printing, is a style of relief printing in which artists use carved wooden blocks to press designs onto textiles or paper. During the workshop, we are going to be using a modified technique for block printing and will be making cards/tags/wrapping paper/ bandanas/cotton bags/T-shirts.
UX Workshop	How user experience design (UX) affects your daily life. Brainstorming and intro to UX, interviewing techniques, and jumping into the designer's shoes. You will be designing rooms for each other based on personal needs. Eye-opening. Best for curious minds who want to know how things are built
Henna	Make your own tattoo! Create a work of art on your hand/arm in the form of A henna tattoo. It is a temporary body art technique that involves drawing on the skin using a henna (plant)- based ink.
Treehouse Design	Interested in learning the architecture design process? We will go through a quick exercise starting with interviewing Tarzan, the homeowner, mapping the empathy map, defining the design program, creating a bubble diagram, and building a 3D model on a tree with consideration of the Sun, the climate, structure, and architectural style. Come and join the 95min Treehouse workshop to explore if being an architect is what you want.
Glass Fusion	Create your own glass fusion masterpiece! We start with glass tiles and add colorful sprinkles, shapes and strings glued on top. The tiles are then fired in a kiln to melt and fuse the pieces, making a one of a kind piece of art.
Anime Art	Create your own anime portrait drawing! You will learn the art of anime, using color pencils and/or black marker with paint.
Hand Sew Emoji Keychains	Hand-sew your own Emoji keychain. You choose the expression and join the fun as we cut and sew and create. By the time we're finished, you will have your own keychain to clip on your backpack, use for your car keys or carry in your pocket.
Acrylic Painting	Use acrylic paints to create artwork on canvas, take home a finished piece of art. Acrylic paint can be used like oil paint in many ways
Alebrije Art Class	Alebrije art is native to the Valley of Oaxaca in Mexico.  Alebrijes are animals that escaped the nightmares of an artist and appear as a variety of different colored species - both real and fantasy. The kids can do amazing designs and let the creativity flow!
Hawaiian Flower Lei	Using a variety of fragrant fresh flowers and ferns, students will learn to make Hawaiian Leis that are worn on their heads.
Chinese Style Drawing/Painting	Chinese painting is one of the oldest continuous artistic traditions in the world. Painting in the traditional style is known today in Chinese as "national painting" or "native painting", as opposed to Western styles of art which became popular in China in the 20th century.
Yoga	This is a cool hands-on class to learn Yoga. Learn the basics & Mindfulness. It releases stress and improves concentration. Once you learn, with regular practice results are astonishing. Bring a yoga mat with you & enjoy the experience.
Hip Hop Dance	Hip hop dance is a range of street dance styles primarily performed to hip hop music or that have evolved as part of hip hop culture. It is influenced by a wide range of styles that were created in the 1970s and made popular by dance crews in the United States. The television show Soul Train and the 1980s films Breakin', Beat Street, and Wild Style showcased these crews and dance styles in their early stages; therefore, giving hip-hop dance mainstream exposure.
